Abbreviations - If you are audited, do not count on a chiropractor reviewing your records who"ll understand what "PR L" or "ASRA" or even "Sublux" means. For that matter, even a non-chiropractor may have difficulty with non specific abbreviations like "PT." Did you send the patient for Physical Therapy or part-time work? The auditor is not going to try to interpret your abbreviations, particularly if a key isn"t absent that describes their patient. A wonderful SOAP note with one abbreviation that is unidentifiable can cause you to neglect your audit. So, be sure you"re spelling it out clearly (another advantage to EMR, push the button and the word comes out!) or that you provide a key that certainly translates all your abbreviations.

The appropriate beat in the music might be quite relaxing, soothing and meditative and positive emotions which may lead to faster healing.
